ATN News Uganda Subscription Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ATN News Uganda. These Subscription Terms govern your access to premium content, newsletters, and exclusive features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable payment terms. We may update these Terms with 7 days notice via email.

2. Subscription Plans

• Monthly: UGX 5,000/month (auto-renews)
• Annual: UGX 50,000/year (17% savings)
• Free Newsletter: Daily headlines (no premium access)

Trial: First 7 days free on monthly plans. Cancel anytime.

3. Payment Terms

• Payments via Mobile Money (MTN/Airtel), Card, or Bank Transfer
• All prices exclude VAT (18% added at checkout)
• No refunds after 7-day trial except as required by Ugandan law
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled

4. Account & Access

• One account per subscriber (shared accounts prohibited)
• Access from up to 3 devices simultaneously
• Account suspension for payment failure or abuse

5. Premium Content License

Subscribers receive:

• Non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view premium articles
• Daily/weekly newsletters
• Ad-free experience
• Archive access (past 12 months)

Prohibited: Downloading, redistributing, or scraping content.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancel anytime via account dashboard
• Monthly: No refunds for partial months
• Annual: Pro-rated refund within 30 days
• Access continues until billing period ends

7. Free Services

Newsletter subscribers receive:

• Daily headlines only
• No premium content access
• Unsubscribe anytime via email footer

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share login credentials
• Use bots/scrapers
• Post illegal/harassing content in comments
• Commercial resale of content

9. ATN News Responsibilities

We provide:

• 99.5% uptime guarantee
• Content accuracy to best of knowledge
• Support response within 48 hours
• GDPR-compliant data protection

10. Limitation of Liability

• Content provided “as is” without warranties
• Not liable for trading/investment decisions
• Maximum liability = subscription fee paid
• Force majeure events excused

11. Termination

We may terminate for:

• Non-payment (7-day grace period)
• Legal violations
• 30 days notice for business reasons

12. Governing Law

Uganda law applies. Disputes resolved in Kampala courts.
